Gruesome Photos of the Maguindanao Massacre
WARNING: GRAPHIC PHOTOS BELOW. Dead bodies lie on the ground near their vehicles at the crime scene of a massacre of a political clan that included several journalists in the outskirts of Ampatuan, Maguindanao in southern Philippines November 24, 2009. The Philippines sacked the provincial police chief and sent hundreds of extra troops to a southern region on Tuesday where gunmen killed at least 24 people in the worst-ever election related violence in the country. On Monday, about 100 gunmen abducted a group of people going to file a nomination for the provincial governor’s post in Maguindanao. A group of about 40 people, including women and local journalists, were taken away by gunmen who opened fire on them, investigators said. A local leader said four survivors were in hiding.

this makes philippines look bad to the whole world. i am hoping am sending this message across…i know there is one holding the key to this case. you can send information over the net. it may not be admissible to court but to at least give leads to the investigating body, find some proofs and get more information to solve this case. your family maybe safe for now, but think about the others who have lost their love ones. i also pray to the souls of the victims. it’s christmas and the families of those victims will have no one to celebrate to….you have any idea how that feels? you can send leads by posting comments here. creating blogs to link the leads. please. do it for your family. do not hide. we will pray for you and your family. please come out and make leads.

oh my gush! what the hell are they doing? Before when I heard this news and rumors about mindanao, i ignored it. I thought it was like a usual chaos that happen in mindanao, but when i saw this pictures and heard it the news i was really amazed. It is unbelievable! I can`t imagine how they killed the people.

You know what? this Andal Ampatuan, Jr. was once charged of killing a man in a Disco bar in Davao City that was on 2006 to 2007, I think. And despite the fact that he was indicted for murder charges by a City Prosecutor in Davao City, he was allowed to post bail bond by the RTC Judge (Murder cases are supposed to be un-bailable). Worse, after all the witnesses including the complainant himself testified against Andal, Jr., for an unknown reason, the complainant recanted his statement and moved for the dismissal of the case. Worse, the judge who heard the case entertained the recantation. Eventually, the judge dismissed the case. And Andal Ampatuan, Jr. was acquitted. (There were rumors that the complainant and the Judge were bought by the Ampatuan’s by the millions).
Should the judge convicted Andal Ampatuan Jr, of murder, and placed him behind bars, this massacre could have been avoided.

Correction Jorge, it’s not Andal Ampatuan, Jr. but Banarin Ampatuan, he’s Andal’s cousin, but still I agree that should Banarin Ampatuan is incarcirated or convicted by his murder case, this massacre could not happened since Banarin is more of spoiled brat, trigger happy and more brutal than Andal, Jr.

I hope you can still recall the demonic and barbaric acts of Mayor Nene Escaño of Tomas Opos Southern Leyte before, where he is fond of slaughtering alleged criminals even in public, where these criminals are thrown alive into deep seas with big stones tied on their bodies. I myself is an eye witness of his barbaric acts: It was during my High School days when Mayor Escaño and his body guards brought one alleged theft to Malitbog for some reason, when such alleged theft attempted to escape from their custody and they ran after him and shoot him without hesitation and that man fell on the ground like a dog being slaughtered. Many children mostly High School students saw that incident. It’s terrible. Mayor Escaño then is as brutal as Ampatuan.
I pray that the PEOPLE behind this gruesome massacre find themselves haunted by the people they killed. May the soul of the victims visit them every time they sleep and during their waking hours!
May they realize how many children have lost their dads, their moms…. parents who lost their sons and daughters… siblings who have lost their ates and kuyas. I love my family and i feel the pain of those who were left behind. Unfortunately, they were taken away by hostile people for senseless reasons… Reasons that can’t be taken with them even in their deathbeds. Even Machiavelli will oppose to their means. These Ampatuans … i mean these pigs should be given NO due process but swifter solution to what they done to their victims, whose only goal was to serve their countrymen. Due process are given to human beings only!!! Warning!!!

first of all majority of you don’t know what the history is of these politicians and people had and why these actions were made, both families has to be brought to justice, the fact is this is not the first time that this murderous intentions happened in mindanao, the media makes things worse because they keep on reporting total bull shit on TV, and narrow minded are so stupid of commenting and suggesting bull to the media and other people. second of all religion is not the issue here (my reply to the commenatator: april vanessa kim). Don’t get anger get to you cause it would not be a solution to the issue at hand, action is what we need, in writing or words. Justice isn’t a word nor meaning for the Philippine Government, to put justice into place we need people who reinforce it, we need people to start a justifiable system in the community then to the government, so at the 2010 election, don’t vote for stupid people who didnt do anything but enjoy the pork barrel or the budget and tax of the nation.

I am not a fully political inclined kind of person but seeing there photos made my skin shiver in fear, the worst murder ever to happen in the Philippines political scene, there are innocent people killed here, they never wished to die this way and more to that, they never wanted war or any kind of atrocities. For once, it did not dawned to me that somehow, Mindanao is never a peaceful place to leave knowing that fact that at any moment you’ll be shot in the head without being asked what your fault was. I hope that the administration can do something about this and the next administration can do something about Mindanao, Muslims are good people, they are our brothers but what their other Muslim brother did their own breed, perhaps I have the right to condemn these barbaric act. Calling the attention of the Media – I hope that you all guys can be noisy enough to let the Administration punish the perpetrators. SO THE PUBLIC MAY KNOW! please read this news article way back in 2008 of how the Judicial System pampered the Ampatuans especially in one case involving Banarin Ampatuan, one of the suspects in recent maguindanao massacre, who was charged with murder at the RTC Davao City and see how the judges well-treated the Ampatuan’s despite the fact that murder should not be bailable considering that the evidence in this case is strong, since the crime was done in front of the public and many witnesses testified.
